The Howard is an amazing building. It served many purposes and is such a big and beautiful place. You walk in the building and just feel like you are first class. Workers and people are so friendly. Everything is neat and fancy, so many sections to the building for different purposes. Elegant flooring, beautiful chandeliers, lavish staircases. The building feels so aged but advanced at the same time. Shelves of drinks organized so neatly, tables and chairs set so precisely. Every aspect of the building is just flawless. Even the smell of coffee around the cafe is so refreshing. You can feel the perfection of the building as you look around and take it all in. In the past the building held meetings to help citizens of the community. Most of the building looks like it did in the past because they did a historical renovation. The building has been used for many different reasons. First, the building was the Fraternal Order of Eagles it held meetings for people to try to help the citizens of the community. After the building was up for sale in 2002 it was made into Oshkosh East High School as an alternative high school until 2004. Between 2005 and 2017 the building was just used for smaller intents like a recording studio. But eventually the current owners bought out the building and renovated it. Now the building is clean, refurbished and ready to be a part of Oshkosh again.
