A company that meant so much to families throughout our city. The oldest industry that was a favorite by all the workers and families. Oshkosh B’gosh clothing was known for the durability, quality, and craftsmanship. It was so cool to know that the company that was making clothes in this building was so valuable to everyone in our community back then. The clothing they made were always considered things worth holding onto. Oshkosh B’gosh had created emotional connections between the generations as the people loved knowing it came from their hometown and the clothes were just overall great. Not only did they make the name “Oshkosh” famous they always stayed true to where they came from. The company went global and it made the families who grew up wearing it and sporting it from their original home city. When the company moved they still stayed true to their roots with keeping a store in Oshkosh. The clothes were comfortable and stylish. Setting the tone for overalls all over Oshkosh and the area because it was such an engaging company. Also setting the tone for everyone in Oshkosh on life in every aspect. This company showed a good work ethic and what can be made if you work for it, even if you’re in a little factory in your hometown. Then how fashionable and warm and working you can be in those clothes. Oshkosh B’gosh overall was just the best place. So many amazing things came from that building such as an amazing company that’s now global!
