Oshkosh B’Gosh had a vision, they had they may never grow up. They were fine with growing old. They are like a rock. The rock grows older each day but it doesn’t change the way it looks. Oshkosh B’Gosh is the same way. They were just not fine with forgetting where they came from. So they were staying true to their original recipe: build great products, put the customer first and provide honest value every day. During the time when the global market started to grow, the most popular clothing companies like Nike and Gap all had to change the way the made their product. Those companies had to ship their product to be manufactured in different countries for cheaper to make more money. This caused the product to be produced in mass quantities to expand which made the quality of the product terrible. During this time Oshkosh B’Gosh stuck with their vision and chose not to change how they ran things, although they could have made more money they stayed true to “build great products, put the customer first and provide honest value every day. Their products have been made with hard labor put into every product. Through the 117 years since Oshkosh B’gosh was founded the haven’t changed how they made their product since day 1. In 2009 Carters bought Oshkosh B’Gosh but Carters kept B’Gosh’s name and logo, Carters also continues to make overalls the same way B’Gosh did and continue to do so since. After Oshkosh B’Gosh was bought by Carter’s it became more of an international company, they are located not only is Oshkosh but across the US, although there is the original building still in Oshkosh and the B’Gosh by the Nike outlet, its more popular around the US than back in Oshkosh. Overall Oshkosh B’Gosh has had great products for the last 117 years and still continue to make their product that same way for many more years to come.
